Yuki Kajiura, born August 6, 1965, is a Japanese composer and music producer. She provided music for several popular anime series, including .hack//SIGN, Noir, EAT-MAN, Aquarian Age, Madlax, Elemental Gelade, Mai-HiME, Mai-Otome, Tsubasa Chronicles, Le Portrait de Petite Cosette, El Cazador de la Bruja, Kara no Kyoukai, and more. She has also composed music for several video games (Blood: The Last Vampire for PS2, cutscenes of Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse, Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra) and live musicals. Kajiura released her solo album Fiction in 2003, which she performed and promoted at Anime Expo 2003 in Anaheim, California.
Kajiura is the keyboardist and composer of duo (formerly trio) See-Saw, which also includes vocalist Chiaki Ishikawa. See-Saw performed theme songs for .hack//SIGN, .hack//Liminality, Gundam SEED, Gundam SEED Destiny, and insert songs for Noir. FictionJunction is Kajiura?s solo project, which she has pursued with other vocalists including Yuuka Nanri (FictionJunction YUUKA), Asuka Kato (FictionJunction ASUKA), and Kaori Oda (FictionJunction KAORI). Kajiura currently resides in Tokyo. |
