Polvo were a math rock group hailing from the town of chapel hill, nc. They have been widely noted for their skilled performance and sophisticated composition techniques, in addition to the wide variety of world, rock, and avant-garde influences the band has incorporated.
Polvo was formed in 1990 and disbanded in 1998. In their most productive years they recorded on merge and touch and go records. “Today’s Active Lifestyles” is considered to be one of their most definitive and finest works. They are self-professed sardine fans. |
