Ijahman Levi war geboren Trevor Sutherland in Jamaika im Jahr 1946 und ist ein Reggae-Musiker. Sein erstes Album, Haile I Hymn, wurde in Island Records im Jahr 1978. Er wurde Ijahman Levi nach einer religiösen Umstellung auf die Rastafari-Bewegung im Gefängnis, wo er zwischen 1972 und 1974. Er und die drei folgenden Datensätze predigte Rastafari-Bewegung sowie die zwölf Stämme Israels Doktrin.
